Super Nature

Une oeuvre surprenante

Roberto Ciredz creates a striking trompe-l'oeil effect that blends into the tree-lined landscape of the neighbourhood. The artist uses shades of green, from dark to very pale. The gradients catch the viewer's eye and produce striking effects of volume, which seem to lighten this massive façade. Through these forms, Roberto addresses the subject of living nature: the growth of plants, the movement of waves or clouds. The vertical lines evoke the hand of Man, straight and scientific. The whole is harmonious, like an ideal relationship between humans and the environment.

Born in 1981, Roberto Ciredz is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. He lives and works in Sardinia. He is internationally recognised for his unique, highly refined work. His approach is based on observation of the environment, reliefs and landscape. His works form refined compositions, whose construction is much more complex than it appears. A fan of blue and green colours, he makes them vibrate with soft undulations, which generate stunning optical effects.
