Le Murmure

Le Creusot | 2024

Tribute to Christian Bobin

French artist Jordan Harang took on a wall with a unique surface. Using his brushes and spray cans, he created the illusion of a window opening onto another world, a poetic universe that resonates with the work of Christian Bobin, a poet from Le Creusot who passed away in 2022. This mural is a sensitive tribute to his writing and imagination.

As part of its particularly dynamic cultural policy, the City of Le Creusot wanted to invest in the Simone Veil space, a thoroughfare leading to the city centre and located near L'Arc – a national theatre – and the conservatory. Between the murals by Pastel and Agrume created in 2023, Jordan Harang's Murmure mural offers a new interpretation of public space, transforming a simple transit area into a space conducive to pause and contemplation.
