Une journée de restitution autour de l'art et de l'écologie
#LOVEPLANET is an inspiring project that brought together nearly 400 children in the first half of 2023 around art and ecology.
For three weeks, children from nursery, kindergarten, primary school and Year 6 secondary school classes gave free rein to their creativity by making posters promoting environmental causes, with the help of artists from the Street Art Rebellion collective.
Mlle Terite worked with the youngest children (nursery and kindergarten) and the children from the youth centre.
Mr Pee worked with secondary school pupils from David Nièpce secondary school and the youth centre.
Erika Raio worked with pupils from Denise Grivaux primary school.
At the end of this artistic adventure, the children's works took over the public space: they were stuck on the walls of the town, forming a walking route connecting all the participating structures.
On 27 May 2023, the project came to a close with a festive and convivial presentation. The programme included poster-making workshops, readings aloud, the Fresque du Climat (Climate Fresco) and the Les Pourkoapas brass band, which created a lively atmosphere despite the oppressive heat!
The photos were taken by Pierre Acobas.
A huge thank you to Anelore Parrot for allowing us to use images from her children's books Basilic, published by Éditions du Père Castor.
